There is no universal, non-custodial alert layer for watching collateral ratios and position health across protocols.

Pillar: Autonomy

The problem

Monitoring a lending position requires either keeping a browser tab open, running a self-hosted bot, or trusting a third-party alerting service. None of these are universal, and none work across all protocols without custom integration.

A user with positions across three protocols has three separate health monitoring problems.

Why it matters

  • Autonomy: My strategy cannot protect itself while I’m not watching.
  • Safety: Liquidation happens without warning when monitoring fails.

What exists today

DeFi Saver, Instadapp, and protocol-native apps offer partial alerting. No cross-protocol standard.

The gap

No decentralized, permissionless, cross-protocol position health notification standard.

Open questions

  • Can this be built on top of a keeper/automation network?
  • What’s the right delivery layer — email, push, onchain event?
